Our Andalusians: |
William Cavendish, Duke of Newcastle, author of one of the first books on dressage, wrote of the Andalusian: "If well chosen it is the noblest horse in the world; the most beautiful that can be. He is of great spirit and great courage and docile; has the proudest walk, the proudest trot ... the loftiest gallop and is the lovingest and gentlest and fittest of all for a king in Day of Triumph." |

Moonstruck Meadows breeds Pure Spanish Andalusians (PRE/Pura Raza Espanloa) for temperament and ridability in addition to correct conformation, health and bloodlines. My breeding mares are ridden extensively on trails and trained in the art of classical dressage. I believe that if you can't ride them, don't breed them. A Moonstruck horse is an enjoyable, sound companion & competitor.* Foals available in utero and as weanlings. * Mature riding horses available. * Year-round referrals for foals and adults.
